Repository Policy
The Journal of Clinical Pharmacy in Community Practice (JCPCP) is an open-access journal committed to the free, immediate, and unrestricted dissemination of scholarly research. In line with this mission, the journal fully supports author rights to deposit, share, and archive their work in repositories at all stages of the publication process under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
1. General Reuse and Sharing Guidelines
Authors and users are permitted to share, reuse, and distribute published content without embargo. However, proper attribution is mandatory in all cases. The original source (JCPCP) must be clearly acknowledged, and the DOI or official Version of Record URL must be included when depositing or sharing content in any repository or academic platform.
2. Repository Policy by Manuscript Stage
2.1 Submitted Version (Preprint)
The submitted manuscript version (prior to peer review) may be freely shared on preprint servers, personal websites, or institutional repositories without restriction. At this stage, citation of the journal is encouraged but not mandatory.
2.2 Accepted Version (Post-Print)
After peer review and formal acceptance, authors are permitted to deposit the accepted manuscript version in institutional or subject-based repositories. The journal must be cited as the official source of peer-reviewed acceptance, along with complete bibliographic details.
2.3 Published Version (Version of Record)
The final published PDF (Version of Record) may be archived and shared on institutional repositories, academic platforms, and personal websites. Proper citation, including the DOI, journal name, and publication details, must always be included.
3. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain full copyright of their work while granting JCPCP the right of first publication. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and adaptation, provided appropriate credit is given to the authors and the journal.
Authors may also enter into additional non-exclusive agreements for further distribution of their work, such as inclusion in books, compilations, or derivative publications, provided that the original publication in JCPCP is properly acknowledged.
